Biography

Carla Rempp

As a young girl and third-generation artist, Carla Rempp was always drawing and painting. She dreamed of writing children’s books, but began her professional creative journey as a dancer, studying ballet until the age of fourteen. This led to a serious interest in acting, and a speaking part in the cult thriller “Jaws” as a young adult.
Carla then moved to Los Angeles where she continued to study acting. For seven years, she worked as a model and aerobics trainer, while pursuing her interest in aromatherapy, health, and healing.
Later she moved to the San Francisco Bay Area and resumed her passion for writing and illustrating. Carla also returned to school to become an aesthetician. After working in the field and developing her own aromatherapy skincare line, she discovered a talent for teaching and worked as a cosmetician instructor for nine years at Zenzie’s Cosmetology School until its closure.
Art continued to be a daily presence, in her life. Carla has now returned to her first love—children’s books. This book is the first in a series of stories designed to enlighten and entertain both little ones and adults. Watch out for Sniffy McNose’s next exciting adventure.
